Three ways to create
Media Library
Dashboard > MediaSelect photos using Cmd/Ctrl+click or Shift+click, then use the Story or Gallery button in the floating selection bar at the bottom of the screen.
Folder Menu
Dashboard > Media > FolderOpen the three-dot menu on any folder card and choose "Create Story" or "Create Gallery". All photos in the folder are included automatically.
Organization Photos
Dashboard > Org > PhotosSelect photos from your organization's shared media pool. The selection bar offers Story, Gallery, and Create Moment options.
How it works
Select your photos
In the media library, click to select individual photos. Use Cmd/Ctrl+click for multiple selections, or Shift+click to select a range. A floating bar appears at the bottom showing your selection count.
Choose Story or Gallery
Click the Story or Gallery button in the selection bar. You'll be taken to the editor with your photos already arranged into a layout.
Edit and refine
The editor opens with pre-composed content blocks — a parallax hero, photo walls, image grids, and section headings. Rearrange, add text, or use AI features to enhance the content.
Publish
Set a title, excerpt, and cover image, then publish. The cover image is automatically picked from your best landscape or favorited photo.
Story vs Gallery layout
Layout
Varied block types — parallax hero, image grids, photo walls, section headings, and dividers. Designed for narrative content where you'll add text between images.
Available blocks
All 10 block types available after creation.
Best for: Travel journals, event recaps, personal essays — anything with a story to tell.
Layout
Photo-focused — parallax hero followed by photo walls with dividers between them. Minimal structure, maximum visual impact.
Available blocks
Image-centric blocks only: image, photo wall, parallax, heading, paragraph, divider.
Best for: Photo collections, portfolio showcases, event galleries — let the images speak for themselves.
Smart features
Intelligent cover image
The system picks the best cover image automatically — favorites are preferred, then landscape-oriented photos, then the first image as a fallback.
Adaptive layout sizing
Photo walls adjust their size based on how many photos you selected. Smaller collections use 6-photo walls, larger ones use 8-photo walls for better visual rhythm.
Section headings
Stories with many photos get automatic section headings to break up the visual flow and create a table of contents on the published page.
Original order preserved
Photos appear in the same order you selected them (or the folder order for folder-based creation).
Tips
- *Mark favorites first — Favorited photos are automatically chosen as the cover image and prioritized in layouts.
- *Use folders for quick creation — If you've already organized photos into a folder, use the folder menu to skip the selection step entirely.
- *Combine with AI — After creating from selected photos, use the AI features in the editor to generate captions, rewrite text, or suggest titles.
- *Selection limit — You can select up to 100 photos at a time. For larger collections, create multiple stories or use a folder.
